Wow where do you start with this game it had everything any football fan loves about the premiership , fast pace end to end coupled with some sublime goals to remember ,
There wasn’t any players that could be singled out for having a bad game though the Liverpool and Chelsea keepers have had better days. No this was a game for the fans of both sides to enjoy and although Liverpool well deserved this win they where made to battle for it at times , the first half as usual was controlled by some excellent possession played mostly in Chelsea’s half of the Anfield pitch and went in at half time 3-1 up
The second half commenced with both teams battling hard , but when Bobby Firmino popped up to head in an unstoppable header on 55 mins it looked like it was all over as a game for Chelsea, how wrong that could have turned out as Chelsea pulled the score back to 4-3 .This was turning into one of those classic nail biting games aided by the Chelsea substitutions which injected another level of pace up front for them and Liverpool seemed rattled at times towards the final 15 minutes and it wasn’t until chamberlain netted the 5th that we could all breathe a sigh of relief.
The game was worthy for the night of being crowned champions for the first time in thirty years and was being celebrated outside the stadium all evening with fireworks visible all evening and Liverpool fans can look forward to more of the same next season
